Private-Pay Appointments

• Payment is due at the time of booking unless an approved payment plan has been arranged.
• Appointments are not considered confirmed until the required payment or agreed-upon deposit has been received.
• Accepted payment methods will be displayed during booking.

Payment Plans

Please do not let pricing discourage you from reaching out. Flexible payment arrangements may be available for qualifying services.

• Payment plans must be arranged and approved before the appointment.
• The agreed-upon initial payment must be received before services begin.
• Remaining payments are due according to the agreed payment schedule.
• New services may require outstanding balances to be resolved first.

Packages

• Package services must be paid in full or through an approved payment plan.
• Packages are intended for the individual client who purchased them and are non-transferable.
• Unused package services are not redeemable for cash.
• Package services must be used within the timeframe stated at purchase.
• Services outside the package are charged separately.

Insurance & The Lactation Network (TLN)

Insurance-covered services are provided to eligible clients through The Lactation Network (TLN).

• Insurance eligibility must be verified through TLN before receiving care as an insurance-covered client.
• Coverage, authorized services, visit limits, and requirements are determined by the client’s individual insurance benefits and TLN.
• Nouréa cannot guarantee insurance coverage before eligibility is confirmed.
• Services approved through TLN are processed according to TLN requirements.
• Private-pay packages and services outside your covered benefits are separate from insurance-covered care.

Travel Fees

Travel fees may apply to in-home appointments outside Nouréa’s standard service area.

• Any applicable travel fee will be disclosed before booking.
• Travel fees are separate from consultation fees unless specifically stated otherwise.
• Travel fees may still apply when the lactation consultation itself is insurance-covered.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that life with a new baby can be unpredictable.

• Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling.
• Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• Emergencies and unexpected circumstances will be considered individually.
• Any applicable fee will be communicated according to the policy agreed to at booking.

Refunds

• Completed services are non-refundable.
• Refund eligibility for prepaid appointments or unused package services will be determined according to the cancellation and package terms provided at purchase.
• Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible.
